Analytics
Organic traffic grew as placements compounded over time. This is the Digital PR “authority flywheel”: trusted mentions and links build credibility first—then rankings and traffic follow.
Introduction
Qooper needed to accelerate organic growth in a competitive mentoring software category. To do that, we ran a two-lane authority strategy: (1) Digital PR to earn branded editorial mentions and high-trust backlinks, and (2) targeted contextual link insertions to strengthen key product and use-case pages. This combination increased authority, improved rankings, and drove compounding traffic growth.
Objectives
- Earn high-trust branded mentions/backlinks (Digital PR)
- Improve rankings for priority pages/keywords (Link Insertions)
- Increase organic traffic
- Drive qualified demo traffic
The Project
We built a 6-month authority + rankings campaign around Qooper’s highest-value pages and topics. First, we aligned on priority use cases (mentoring programs, career development, DEI, leadership development) and mapped target pages to supporting themes. From there, we executed a two-lane strategy: Digital PR to earn branded editorial mentions and homepage authority, plus targeted contextual placements to support specific product and use-case pages. Progress was tracked monthly across placements earned, authority metrics, and organic performance.
Digital PR Strategy (Primary)
We ran an always-on Digital PR campaign to position Qooper’s team as expert sources in mentoring, L&D, and career development. We monitored journalist requests daily, crafted concise, quotable expert insights, and secured placements in relevant publications—driving branded mentions, authority backlinks, and referral traffic to Qooper’s site.
Targeted Contextual Link Strategy (Support Layer)
To reinforce rankings for priority product and use-case pages, we secured contextual links on relevant sites where the surrounding content aligned with Qooper’s core topics. Each placement was reviewed for topical fit, natural anchor language, and on-page context—strengthening keyword visibility while keeping the link profile clean and credible.
Results & Outcomes
After a consistent six-month campaign, Qooper achieved a 2203% increase in organic traffic. Results were driven by two lanes working together:
- Authority & Trust Growth: Earned 57 editorial placements (avg DR 78), increasing branded mentions and high-quality referring domains.
- Ranking & Visibility Lift: Stronger authority improved Qooper’s ability to rank for mentoring, learning, and career development software terms.
- Qualified Traffic Gains: Higher rankings plus referral traffic from editorial coverage contributed to the 2203% organic traffic increase over 6 months.
Traffic quality also improved, with more visitors landing on product and use-case pages (not just blog content).
These editorial placements now serve double duty: they continue building traditional SEO authority while functioning as the trust signals AI search engines rely on to recommend brands. When ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, or Perplexity answers a query like "best mentoring software" or "employee development platforms," they cite brands with verified editorial footprints across trusted publications. Every CMSWire, Her Campus, and Hive placement earned during this campaign trains AI systems to associate Qooper with authority in the mentoring and L&D category.
Some notable earned placements include:
- CMSWire (DR 84): Assessing Your Team's Digital Workplace Skills
- Her Campus (DR 78): The Pitfalls of a Passion-Based Career
- Breadcrumbs (DR 71): How to Scale Growth: 8 Strategies to Get Out of a Slump
- Hive (DR 76): 5 Leadership Theories Every Leader Should Know About
These placements helped Qooper build credibility at scale while strengthening authority signals that support rankings. As coverage accumulated, organic visibility improved across priority topics—contributing to sustained, compounding traffic growth over the campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently
Asked Questions
Most campaigns show meaningful ranking improvements in 4-6 months, with significant organic traffic growth by months 6-12. The timeline depends on your starting domain authority, competitive landscape, and how aggressively we build. Our eCommerce client saw 555% growth in 10 months. Our SaaS client saw 2,203% growth in just 6 months because they started with strong on-page content that was ready to rank once authority caught up.
Our monthly packages start at $3,000/mo for the Starter tier, $6,000/mo for Growth, and $12,000/mo for Elite. The right investment depends on your competitive landscape and growth goals. Most brands start at Growth. You can see full pricing details on our pricing page.
We've delivered results across eCommerce, SaaS, healthcare, food/lifestyle, and more. The strategy works in any industry where journalists need expert sources — which is virtually every industry. The specific publications and pitch angles change, but the core approach (earning editorial links through journalist sourcing platforms) adapts to any vertical.
We monitor journalist sourcing platforms — Qwoted, Featured, Source of Sources, and others — daily. When a journalist posts a query that matches your expertise, we respond with a credentialed, thoughtful pitch on your behalf. The journalist decides to include your expert in their article. Every placement is a genuine editorial decision, which is why these links carry maximum SEO value and zero risk.
Across all campaigns, our editorial placements average DR 75+. For our eCommerce client, the average was DR 79. For our healthcare clients, it reached DR 83. We don't pursue low-authority placements — every link comes from a site with real editorial standards and real organic traffic.
Yes — most of our clients already have an SEO team handling on-page optimization, technical SEO, and content. We focus specifically on digital PR and link building, which is the piece most in-house teams and generalist agencies struggle to execute. We complement their work rather than duplicate it.
We can't guarantee specific publications because we can't control journalists' editorial decisions. What we do guarantee is consistent, daily outreach to relevant journalist queries and a transparent reporting process so you see exactly what's being pitched and what's landing. Our track record across hundreds of campaigns speaks for itself.
Guest posts are content you write and place on someone else's blog. Our placements are earned — a real journalist at a real publication decides to cite your expert in their article. Google treats these very differently. Editorial links from publications like Martha Stewart or U.S. News carry significantly more authority than guest posts on niche blogs, and they generate the brand mentions that AI search engines use to recommend brands. There's no risk of Google penalties because these are genuine editorial decisions.
