Background
Brandon's path to founding Reporter Outreach started in the SEO trenches. After graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management in 2011, he transitioned into digital marketing and quickly found his niche in search engine optimization.
From 2014 to 2016, Brandon worked as an SEO Specialist at Rosemont Media, a healthcare-focused digital marketing agency in San Diego. There, he developed the technical SEO and content strategy skills that would later inform his approach to building authority for clients in competitive YMYL verticals like healthcare and financial services.
In 2016, he moved to seoWorks as a Digital Analyst, where he deepened his understanding of data-driven SEO strategy, backlink analysis, and competitive research. It was during this period that Brandon began to see the outsized impact that high-quality backlinks from editorial sources had on rankings — and the gap in the market for an agency that could deliver them consistently.
In June 2017, Brandon co-founded Nomad SEO, a full-service boutique SEO agency.
